How does a BTEC compare to A Level’s?
On the whole, BTECs tend to be more vocational and practical, which may suit both your learning style and what you want to do after you finish your studies. A Level’s have exams whereas BTEC’s don’t; you’re required to complete essay’s instead! If you’re fortunate enough to know what career you’re working towards, a BTEC is arguably more useful than A Level’s since you’ll be starting to get the real skills you need for the career you want.
