Through partnerships with local schools who share our vision and will act as hubs for delivery of the educational elements, the programme will combine teaching excellence with high level coaching provision.
A unique opportunity to study within your school, whilst representing a professional football club
Students will study towards a BTEC Level 3 in Sport that will typically involve 10-12 hours of classroom-based study per week. All teaching and learning will take place utilising a bespoke Virtual Learning Platform and, during the two-year course, students will be challenged across a broad study base to provide the necessary knowledge and understanding for progression in to a wide variety of settings in the related industry.
Students will receive 4–6 hours of high level coaching per week whilst competing in a structured games programme within their own region and beyond. The programme will form an important part of the development pathway with those involved benefiting from increased participation opportunities during school hours and still being able to represent home clubs at evenings and weekends.
The Level 3 course is suitable for young people who demonstrate high academic ability with aspirations of progression on to university study or employment in the sports industry.
